Outdoor Photography Class
Learn to take professional outdoor photos!
Focus your lens and your attention as you trail a professional photographer through some of New York City’s most captivating halls and outdoor spaces. During the first half of the trip, your instructor will give a series of mini-lectures on photography techniques, such as proper lighting, advantageous framing, and the importance of timing. After each mini-lecture, you and your group will be allowed some time to roam the area on your own and experiment with these techniques. Throughout the course of the day, you will explore what each setting on your individual camera means.
No more using the “Auto” function. Whether you work with a point-and-shoot or a fully equipped SLR, your guide will be able to instruct you on how to make the most out of what you have, ensuring that your pictures will be both captivating and personal.
Once the group portion is done, you will each have some one-on-one time with the instructor where you will be able to have your photos evaluated as well as ask any lingering questions. By the end of the trip, your camera will be full of magnificent images that you can share with your group on the trip home.Event Details
