Channel your inner child and spend the day at the beach building sandcastles. Your group will feel like school has let out for the summer as you arrive at the shore, coolers and beach blankets in hand. The day starts out with a group sandcastle building lesson from your professional sandcastle building engineer (why didn’t one of these ever come in for career day?). You’ll learn how to structure sandcastle foundations, how to use water to bind the sand, and the most ideal place to put those little flying flags before breaking up into two teams for an hour-long sandcastle building challenge.
Each team will work together to build a unique sandcastle of their own that will later be judged by the head engineer. Cooperation is a must, as is speed and precision, since your team will be on a tight deadline with little room for error. At the end of the hour, each sandcastle will be evaluated based on size, creativity, structural soundness, and flair. Yes, flair.
After the winner is crowned and prizes are awarded, your group can get to know each other outside the confines of the cubicle, taking in the sights of sailboats and surfers, playing beach football and volleyball, or just having a cold drink while relaxing in the surf.
