Aerial dance, trapeze, live music & projection: join us to witness the Amelia Project, a thrilling performance inspired by Amelia Earhart and other aviators.

This is the final phase of Fly-by-Night’s two-year project inspired by Amelia Earhart and other aviators. Performances features floor–to–ceiling aerial dance accompanied by live piano and percussion score and video projections that include the use of aerial cameras, which allow the audience to experience the world from within, above and below the trapeze.

Emotionally, the work portrays Earhart’s fearlessness (one solo is performed blindfolded), and the passion of early aviators to put themselves in the air at all costs.

The first 20 Outdoor Bound clients to purchase tickets will also receive a FREE two-hour aerial dance & trapeze workshop! The class is on June 27, from 6-8 PM at Soundance, 281 N. 7th Street in Williamsburg Brooklyn.
