Well yes. I am crazy but I also like finding the perfect piece of light gear. This kettle can hold up to 28 ounces of mashed potatoes while weighing in at only 4 ounces. 4 ounces! That's lighter than, well, your lighter.
The recent high temperatures in NYC have me daydreaming about the glory days of Discover Outdoors trips in the cold and snow. On these trips I lug the Titan kettle, made from titanium, and a MSR pocket rocket stove and fuel canister snugly inside to heat up some hot cocoa and tea for clients. Tip -
Rub the bottom of any pot with soap before placing it on a stove or fire and then you can easily wipe the soot off. Submitted by Discover Outdoors guide and expert gear reviewer Pete Relyea.
