Traverse Harriman State Park

Traverse Harriman State Park following the famed Appalachian Trail. All of 22 miles, tip to tail of Harriman State Park, this three-day hike of epic proportions traverses the playground we have all come to know and love so well. The traverse begins with the gradual trails of Pine Meadow before climbing the Seven Hills and the classic peaks of Parker, Black Ash, Surebridge and many others. We will summit the well-known Bear Mountain before reaching the eastern border of the park.

Campsites have been chosen along the way to ensure great views and ample water for resupply. You will be expected to carry your backpacks along with camping gear and food.
