About Your Guide

Danna grew up climbing trees, camping, and catching lightning bugs near the mighty Mississippi River in Memphis, Tennessee. She later moved to Nashville, where she enjoyed nature photography, kayaking, stargazing, and hiking the foothills of the Appalachians. It was there she began her meditation practice. Danna has since completed several courses on Buddhism and mindfulness, including the "Awake in the Wild" nature meditation teacher training. A licensed hiking guide and Wilderness First Responder, she now lives in NYC and helps New Yorkers escape the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature in and out of the city. Her ultimate goal is to advocate for our earth and all species, encouraging others to protect them.
