Rock Climber, Blogger
Kathy Karlo is a rock climber and freelance writer from New York. She authors the blog, For the Love of Climbing, and writes, "From Brooklyn to Boulder, I began climbing in the Gunks in 2011 and never looked back since my first gear placement, preferring to focus on what lies on the horizon ahead." Discovering her love of rock and ice has been a life changing experience. She encourages anyone and everyone to try it. Her belief is that climbing a rock is so much more than that—it’s a life journey that forever tests the limits of possibility.
